Did you receive a letter from Desert Orthopedic Center regarding Anthem Blue Cross? Please know that this letter does not apply to anyone with a Medicare Supplement!
If you have Medicare as your primary insurance, and Anthem Blue Cross as a Medicare Supplement, then any provider must follow the medicare billing rules. That simply means, they must accept any medicare supplement. Unfortunately, the letter from Desert Orthopedics is very misleading as it only applies to individual plans, NOT to medicare supplements.
